IFFDC wins The Times of India Social Impact Award
Indian Farm Forestry Development Cooperative Ltd. (IFFDC) that has been engaged in the developmental activities like Afforestation, Watershed Development, Crop Development etc. since its inception has won the Times of India Social Impact award as a Corporate under the Livelihood category. The Jury that consisted of names like Nitish Kumar, Deepak Parikh, NandanNilekani, Jairam Ramesh, Aruna Roy and SunitaNarain selected IFFDC for this award and applauded the work done by IFFDC in improving livelihood in Villages throughout the country and especially in Rajasthan, UP and MP. Its Gender focused participatory approaches are estimated to have benefitted 3.8 Lakh people. What is even more gratifying is that IFFDC competed with the likes of Hindustan Unilever and Royal bank of Scotland Foundation for the same award.
